TOMME STYLE
Based on a French farm-house cheese, Tomme is a cheese traditionally made in France reflecting the sweet and complex flavours of the summer grass grown in the alpine regions.
Our version of this semi-firm cheese made with whole cow’s milk, is lightly pressed leaving small openings; it has a supple texture with a natural rind going grey with age.
The cheese has complex sweet, nutty and savoury flavours typical of pasture fed cow’s milk. The flavour develops early and gets even better with age.

Best Served At
Serve at room temperature to allow the cheese’s full flavour, aroma and texture to bloom. Remove the cheese from the fridge, place on the platter or board, then cover with a clean damp cloth an hour before serving.

After it’s been opened, re-wrap in cling film or aluminium foil and then place in an airtight container to prevent cross-contamination and drying out.
